Socastee Middle School is proud to host award-winning ensembles such as band, chorus, and orchestra!  Programs are open to students in 6th-8th grade with new students allowed to begin in their 6th grade year.  The band program emphasizes woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments while orchestra will promote strings and chorus, voices.

The programs offer quarterly concerts as well as participation in county and state-level festivals, honor ensembles, solo & ensemble, and other opportunities to promote growth in musical education.  For additional information, click on the links for FAQs about each SMS musical ensemble or class.
